The chateau is in a gorgeous country setting. If you go there, be sure to take a stroll into the nearby village to savour fresh-baked croissants and fabulous cider, crafted using traditional methods and locally grown produce.

The location of the chateau is perfect as it provides the opportunity to do day trips to surrounding French towns such as LeMans, Caen...even driving to the beaches of Normandy. The little village of Courtomer is within walking distance making it convenient to pick up extra groceries, wine and other items.
I highly recommend Chateau de Courtomer. We're already talking about a return visit.
