Our Services & Suppliers

For guests who want more support to make their stay more relaxing and enjoyable…

We understand that some clients like to upgrade their stay to include meals, cleaning, local travel etc. We are pleased to offer the following services and suggest a number of talented suppliers who have worked at the Chateau and been recommended to us by guests.

On-site concierge

Booking restaurants, planning day’s out, organising a round of golf or garden visit can all be a bit daunting if you don’t speak French. We can provide you with a concierge service to help you. This service must be booked in advance and can be available any or all days of your stay. We usually find that a meeting on the first morning of your stay is enough and that after that WhatsApp support works well.

Please note however, that we can’t work miracles and if you want a guide, a group meal out or a private chef you must book these services well in advance. We recommend that you book all external suppliers as soon as you confirm your booking with us and restaurants at least three months prior to your arrival. During the summer season local restaurants get booked up well in advance and so unless you book you will probably be disappointed. For groups of more than 10 people most good restaurants will ask you to choose a single menu, so you and your friends or family will have to choose what this is in advance. Also note that many restaurants in the French countryside will not accept ‘drop in’ customers after 8.30 pm.

150€ per day

Housekeeping

If you would like us to make up your rooms each day, tidy public rooms and wash your tablecloths our housekeeping team will be happy to provide this service. Please book this service in advance

20€ per person per day

Transport

A private car service makes travel easy and convenient and it can be as simple or as luxurious as you wish. We work regularly with Henri Pavard but can also recommend other services. Henri will provide quotes for airport and train station transfers as well as transportation for excursions in the region. We can also provide options for excursions as far afield as the Loire Valley and elsewhere.

The tastes of Normandy…

Normandy is one of the main gastronomic regions of France — and not just because of its wonderful butter, cream, cheese and cider. The rich farmlands around the Chateau produce excellent beef, lamb, and pork. In the nearby Perche, small producers or ‘maraichers’ grow vegetables, fruit and such specialities as saffron, snails and honey. You will find a  wide range of local produce at any of the farmers markets which are held regularly in the area.

If you want to hire a local chef to cater for you while you stay with us please ask Heather for our Vendors list.
